Graphical Optimization Criteria

This is used to produce something commonly referred to as an overlay graph. It is comprised of the contour plots from each response laid on top of each other.

Note

The numerical optimization criteria is carried over and automatically initializes the graphical optimization criteria. Subsequent changes to the numerical optimization criteria will not change the existing graphical optimization criteria.

Set the criteria for a response by clicking on it in the list and filling in one or both limits to match the experiment’s objectives.

Interval estimates can be added to the overlay graphs. Check the “Show Interval” box to add intervals to the criteria. The area of acceptable outcomes will shrink to allow for uncertainty in the estimates.

Click on the Graphs tab to show the plot.

The numerical optimization criteria is carried over initially.
