CAMO is headquartered in Norway, with offices in England, Germany, Poland and the US. In addition, CAMO has a global network of OEM partners and resellers. The main US sales office is situated in Houston. This Account Manager position will be located in Minneapolis at the offices of our partner Stat-Ease, who provide their Design of Experiments software as part of CAMO’s industrial analytics platform.

 The Position:

This is an exciting opportunity to join an established market leader at a time when interest and demand for data analysis solutions is growing rapidly. The successful candidate will be responsible for meeting sales targets by generating new business as well as managing an existing portfolio of leading international, US and Canadian based companies. Identifying opportunities to cross-sell solutions into different areas of client companies is very important. Working primarily over the phone and by demonstrating our solutions via online meetings and webinars, the candidate will be proactive in offering professional advice to customers and prospects. Occasional travel will be required.

As a key member of the US sales team, the successful candidate will be expected to achieve both personal sales targets and also to play an active and willing part in assisting the team meet overall company objectives. A strong passion for selling, initiative and high degree of drive is essential in this role.

Required Qualifications/Skills:

  • 2-5 years sales experience
  • Results driven and proven track record of meeting sales targets
  • Persuasive and professional communicator with the ability to convey the value of complex solutions
  • Energetic self starter who is capable of building a strong pipeline through proactive outbound calling efforts
  • Strive to attain outstanding levels of client service
  • Fluent spoken and written English

Desired Qualification/Skills:

  • Experience with client management from pharma, energy, chemical or food & beverage sectors
  • Experience selling scientific, data analysis or business intelligence software
  • Experience in the use of CRM systems, preferably Microsoft Dynamics
  • University degree in a business, technical or scientific discipline
  • High level of interpersonal and communication skills, inspiration and energy

Relevant and documentable previous experience may compensate for a different background.
