Edit Constraints

On this dialog the experimenter can establish limits on where design points can be created.

This is accomplished by creating multi-linear constraints to better describe the limits of the experiment.

Example: If the outflow rate (\(B\)) must be greater than or equal to the inflow rate (\(A\))”, then the constraint can be written:

\(1 \leq B/A\)

or equivalently

\(0 \leq B - A\).

The Clear All button deletes all constraints. To remove individual constraints. Right-click on the row header, move the cursor to the highlighted area, right-click again and choose Clear.

If constraints cannot be expressed by a simple statement, consider using the Add Constraint Tool button in the upper right of the dialog box.
