Numerical Optimization Graphs

A graph of desirability can be generated for any of the solutions found via numerical optimization. You can change the optimum by clicking on the row of solutions buttons along the top. The solutions are sorted from best to worst.

Use the View menu to see contour, 3D surface, or perturbation (trace) graphs.

As a convenience, the 2D contour graphs will have a flag planted at the optimum points. You may expand the flag by right clicking on it (or double clicking.)

User Tip: In addition to graphing the overall desirability, you may easily graph any individual response by selecting from the Response menu at the top of the screen. It can be useful to see how a single response behaves in the vicinity of a particular optimum. Then view the expanded flag to see the 95% confidence predictions.
