Experience:
Richard brings a 38-year history with Dow Corning Corporation to Stat-Ease, emphasizing a global track record of product/process development and improvement.

As a Six Sigma Master Black Belt (MBB), Richard has trained over 200 black belts around the world in six sigma principles, including the use of design of experiment (DOE) fundamentals to deliver business results. He has also led and coached hundreds of projects in his tenure with Dow Corning. Using six sigma and DOE principles, Richard led the effort to create the world's first metallurgical grade solar silicon and created a manufacturing capability in Brazil to launch the product.

As a chemical engineer, Richard specializes in the use of statistical methods to support product/process development, improvement, and control, most notably the use of design of experiment methods and statistical process control. Richard’s business training and experience brings a business-driven focus to the effective use of statistical tools.
