Getting Started

Designed experiments require some up front planning to be successful.

The first step is to answer the question, “What is the objective?”

Identify the responses that need to be measured.

Which factor effects should be examined?

How many runs does the budget allow?

Don’t get too worried. Take the process question by question.

Use the Design Wizard to walk through the above questions in more detail.

Build a New Design to skip the wizard and build a design directly.

Open Design to bring in an existing Design-Expert file.
