Alan Collins is principal of QD Consulting, which specialises in the provision of consultancy and training in Design of Experiments (DOE) and related statistical techniques.  Alan developed his expertise in statistical and numerical techniques during ten years with PA Technology (part of the international PA Consulting Group) working in development consultancy.  He used these techniques within development projects and carried out training for client companies. Since its beginning in 1989, QD Consulting has trained personnel from chemical, pharmaceutical, food and engineering companies.  Alan has also presented papers on Design of Experiments at International conferences.
